Issuance of Exploration License
Definition
This service aims to enable the investor to apply for issuance an exploration license request (a license for all types of minerals) with an exclusive or individual right to enable the beneficiary to detect all licensed minerals on the license location, and to use any means of detection, such as (all types of drilling, geophysical and geochemical analysis). Also, to estimate the mineral resources in the license area and its economic feasibility for exploitation, and the individual right to get an exploitation license with the exploration license during its validity.
Conditions
-The detection license shall not transfer directly or indirectly during the first year from the beginning of its term.
-The applicant should be a registered company according to the laws of Saudi Arabia.
-The applicant should not be bankrupt or he/she underwent bankruptcy system procedures.
-The executive officer should disclose for the applicant that he/she has never been convicted of any criminal offense during the past three years.
-The license period is (5) years for metals of category A and B, and one year for minerals of category C.
