Initiative Overview
One of the sub-tracks of the Future Factories initiative, which works to increase the productivity of factories, increase their competitiveness and operational efficiency through the application of main digitization and automation solutions, which are a requirement for advanced digitization and automation solutions and usually do not require large capital. These solutions include; Digitization of procedures, planning, communication systems, control of production lines, material handling and packaging systems and machines, by providing these solutions to the industrial beneficiary or covering part of the cost for their application.
Initiative goals
1- Enhancing the follow-up of the factories' performance by providing communication systems and providing operational data.
2- Increasing the level of digital maturity, competitiveness and operational efficiency of national factories.
3- Creating attractive job opportunities in the industry for national competencies.
Target group
This initiative targets all factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all industrial sectors
The solutions offered by the initiative
-
1. Resource planning, customer relationship management and production planning systems.
2. Communication and control systems for production lines (such as data historians, MES, MOM, SCADA).
3. Material handling systems (such as cranes and warehouse management systems).
4. IOT software and sensors.
5. Any other products that contribute to enhancing the basic digitization of industrial facilities
Eligibility Criteria
1. The client should be an existing and productive factory
2. The factory must have obtained all necessary government licenses
3. The type of investment for the establishment should be (industrial).
4. That the client be from small and medium factories, and it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monshaat” to prove that
5. Be within the scope of main digitization: solutions for digitizing procedures and planning, such as:
10.1. Resource planning, customer relationship management and production planning systems
10.2. Production line communication and control systems (such as data historian and SCADA, MOM, MES)
10.3. Material handling systems (such as cranes and warehouse management systems)
10.4. Internet of Things (IoT) software and sensors
10.5. Any other products that contribute to enhancing the main digitization of industrial facilities
11. The solution or technology used is not previously applied in the factory, and 80% of the cost is compensated up to a maximum of 300,000 Saudi riyals.
