Initiative Overview
The initiative of encouraging small and medium factories to issue the local content certificate led by LCGPA is one of the initiatives under the umbrella of Industrial Sector Support Initiative. This initiative contributes to achieving local content targets in the industrial sector by covering the cost of auditing local content or part of it that is provided by approved audit offices.
Initiative Objectives
The initiative aims to encourage industrial MSMEs to issue the local content certificate and to motivate factories to develop their local content.

- Covering the cost of auditing local content score or part of it that is provided by audit offices.

Conditions for Participating in the Initiative
- The factory should be classified as MSMEs and submit Monsha'at certificate as proof.
- The factory should have an active commercial register and an industrial license.
- In order to benefit from the LCGPA initiative; the factory needs to obtain The Proof of Eligibility Document.
- The factory should have a local content certificate for fiscal year 2022 or later.
- The factory shall submit a coverage application - after obtaining the local content certificate - to LCGPA within a period not exceeding ninety (90) days from the issuance date of the eligibility document.
- The factory should have an active bank account within Saudi Arabia.
