About the initiative
Identifying the requirements of trade policy to support the national industrial strategy in each industrial cluster to reach target markets and to build non-tariff measures to protect national products from unjustified growing foreign imports and policies/proposed protection for pending or future trade negotiations, and with target export markets. Policies and standards for transporting, storing, packaging, and circulating goods and industrial products; policies and controls to encourage the import and re-export of raw materials as final or semi-final products. Also, policies to encourage sales and retail points for national products and to regulate the acquisition and circulation of industrial equipment and policies for importing basic materials and semi-finished products. Data of origin, combating commercial fraud, intellectual property protection, policies limiting the export of basic materials, industrial inputs, and acquired resources, risk management policies, and maintaining the supply and demand balance in local markets for goods and industrial products are all examples of policies that are in place.
Strategic objective
Localizing promising industries
Final output
Developing nine trade policies for manufacturing.
